On January 10th, the key technology creation and application project of controlled release of plant-derived oil-coated fertilizers from the cooperation of Shi Kefeng Chemical Co., Ltd. and South China Agricultural University won the second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award in 2019. China has applied 1/3 of the world's chemical fertilizers in the process of ensuring food security. Large amounts of fertilizers not only lead to low fertilizer efficiency and high losses, but also tend to cause non-point source pollution. The coated fertilizer can prevent the rapid dissolution and loss of the fertilizer due to the coating layer. It is recognized as a high-utilization and environmentally-friendly controlled-release fertilizer; however, there are also mainstream coating materials that are difficult to degrade and the controllability of coated nutrient release is poor. According to Xie Yongjun, chairman of the project's main finisher, Shi Kefeng Chemical Co., Ltd., the award-winning key technology for the controlled release of plant-derived oil-coated fertilizers was created and applied, using excellent controlled-release performance, low cost, easy access to materials, and Degradable and renewable vegetable oil is used as coating material. Solvent-free in-situ surface polymerization reaction coating technology, coating controlled release technology, synchronous nutrition coated coating controlled release formula fertilizer and synchronous application technology have been created, and innovative results have been achieved. .

Shi Kefeng's plant-derived oil-coated fertilizer has three major characteristics: First, it created a plant-based oil-coated fertilizer material, created pore-forming and double-coated controlled-release technologies, and achieved easy degradation of the film and controlled release of nutrients. Secondly, in response to the problems of low efficiency and high cost of traditional fluidized bed large-scale coating, a surface-modified film toughening and solvent-free coating process was created to improve the efficiency of fluidized bed coating; the invention of automation and continuous coating Technology, intelligent, continuous, efficient, harmless coating, reducing the overall cost. The third is to address the problems of insufficient nutrient supply in the early stage of one-time fertilization and excessive fertilizer supply in the early stage of conventional fertilizer application and lack of fertilizer in the early stage of burned seedlings. Synchronous nutritional fertilizer preparation technology was created to realize large-scale application of nutrient supply and demand, high fertilizer utilization rate and coated fertilizer.
